There are many reasons to answer the question “why”. First of all and don´t call me silly but I like it. Why do I like it? Because it makes me feel better. Not better than the others but it gives me the feeling that I´m doing something good for other people, that my work actually means something.
Today´s post will be different than other ones. There won´t be anything or anyone to show, no nice pictures, no nice views. Because the topic is different. Today I´m gonna write about Malaysia´s black fat spot, which are drugs and the most popular of them – meth.
Last place I have visited in Malaysia was Penang and I flew there from Langkawi, with AirAsia, again for 5€. My host didn´t have a car, but I could explore more just because there us public transportation on the island, not Langkawi alike, where you have to own a car or rent a bike. There are also many more places to go and today I will tell you all about them. I just regret I didn´t stay there few days longer… sigh, sigh, sigh.
During my stay in Malaysia I was lucky to find a promotion on AirAsia website and book the flights to Langkawi and Penang for 5€! And because I had another 2 weeks before my flight to Indonesia, I´ve decided to go. And I didn´t regret it. Malaysia is so beautiful!! And especially Langkawi!
My trip to Ipoh was totally spontaneous. I met Kris on the other day and he asked me whether I wanted to go with him to his hometown and I sort of thought why shouldn´t I, so I went there. And I wasn´t disappointed.
During my first week in KL we went to the neighbourhood state for a one day trip to Malacca. As we were going there casually, not “touristy” we didn´t plan anything. Relax and casual sightseeing was the plan. And it actually worked pretty well.
The very first thing I´ve noticed in KL was: “OMG, the roads are so wide and plain”. The second: “Woow, look at how many malls are there in here”. I´ll explain. I arrived to Malaysia from India, Singapore was just a one week trip that I made from KL. You see, KL was sort of my base where I settled for few weeks with many breaks for trips outside of the capital city. About those trips I will write in the next posts, but today I would like to focus on KL itself. There are many places worth going to, and I´ve seen most of them, but not all. So, again, where to go?
